Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic musician, singer and actor. The singer combines soul gospel jazz and R&B for a distinctive blend. The singer has worked everywhere from Broadway up to the Democratic National Convention to the European scene of clubs and festivals. Sunshine is Denise White. Even though she lives in Atlanta at present, Sunshine comes originally from Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she first began her journey as a musician, singing and playing at the church in town. She attended Spellman College and began to master the R&B style of Atlanta. The Fighting Temptations The first single featuring her voice was called Stalk You a house 12 issued exclusively in Japan It has since been remixed by a variety of producers and has become the mainstay in her live show. The Fighting Temptations was the another soundtrack on which she sang. In 2005, Tyler Perry hired her as the principal keyboardist on his stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday (a Grammy and Tony Award-winning singer) approached her for a position as choir conductor for Dreamgirls in Atlanta for the National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine became the focus of interest during four consecutive performances at the 2008 Democratic National Convention and was then invited to sing at President Barack Obama's inauguration in 2009.
